Arrival

Registration begins at 7:45am, opening ceremony begins at 8:30am, and the first class session begins at 9am. From the Stratford parking lot (see below), walk up from the parking lot, and find the registration booth up the hill on your left.  Paying ahead helps you beat the line

What should I bring?

Bring whatever you might need for a full day of classes – we suggest bringing:

  • water bottle
  • a notebook
  • items for our altars that can be composted or taken home with you
  • costumes or other festive outfits 
  • pens/pencils for taking notes
  • Lunch if you did not purchase one from us, lunch blanket if you would like to sit on the lawn.
  • Snacks–its going to be a long day
  • Check the weather the day before, and dress accordingly for indoor and outdoor activity.
  • Main entrance has steep grade, wear appropriate shoes.
  • Reusable tote bag for your goodies from the vendor area.
  • Drums and rattles

What about lunch?

If you will bring your own lunch, think about bringing a picnic blanket with you so you can relax on the lawn in the rose garden.

If you purchased a meal, you will receive a meal ticket in your registration packet. Present ticket at lunchtime at our lunch distribution area (see map in registration packet).

Where should I Park?

General parking for Moonflower attendees will be in the parking lot between Zilker Botanical Garden and The Great Lawn (soccer field area). Turn North onto Stratford Drive from Barton Springs Road, proceed past Lou Neff Road, and look for the parking attendants https://fr-libido.com/. Parking lot will be on your right past Lou Neff. Limited ADA/disabled parking is available through the main entry lot of Zilker Botanical Garden, from Barton Springs Road. A current state-issued handicap placard is required for attendee entry to this lot.  Moonflower cannot take responsibility for valuables left in your vehicle. Please take them with you or leave at home.

Vendors

We will have many local herbalists and practitioners in our vendor area – please stop by and support their small herbal businesses!  Bring cash, there is also an ATM in the main building.

Please review our festival policies. These help us keep the conference running smoothly.

  • Love and Respect: We ask that everyone attending respects diversity and treats eachother with kindness and compassion.  Please alert staff if you feel unsafe.

  • Children: We love families and children! However, we are unable to accommodate childrens’ activities or child care, but we hope to grow into that one day.
  • Pets:  We know how much you love your furry friends, but please leave them at home – no animals are allowed in indoor or outdoor classes unless they are service animals. As the park allows leashed pets, you may see animals with people in the park who are not attending classes.
  • Smoking and open flames: City ordinance prohibits smoking and open flames (including candles,etc) in the park. No vape pens allowed in the vicinity of classrooms, indoor or outdoor.
  • Refund Policy:  Festival is rain or shine. All sales are final, no refunds.
